Death by Vintage Radio (Falling in Tub)

dear ,

fancy weather we’re having
we’d like to introduce ourselves to a few of you

to you, our digital grassroots cyber audience, a population who found us via our original youtube channel we made as soon as we met.. our love for you likens an eternal matrix of binary code. We have a confession: we are classical composers at heart and this trendy 808 stuff has got to go. we spend every day performing either publicly or at private events. we jam with pretty jazzy and bluegrassy artists so none of the stuff you see about us in cyberspace represents a fraction of what we really do. The song playing on this site captures content, but we even sound different. more authentic, more existential.

to our new york commuters, if you’re here because you saw us out playing our hearts on our sleeves we appreciate you taking your time to find us. you’ve heard our sound firsthand and we’re here to confess it was probably improvised. indie-classical x blues fusion is the name of our game, and we maximize on street performances to build chops. thanks for appreciating live performance as we’re engrossed in a culture filtered by technology that separates us the more we’re connected. so many people pass us that it lights our fire to see you see us. The handwritten notes, foreign money, polaroids, and hilarious business cards are cherished in our office space.

guess what? we have a an awesome band*. we’re so lucky to have them helping us record the Gallerina Suites. that’s coming out closer to winter, we scrapped a song or two and want to write more. we’re putting together some gallery shows and collaborating with artists across other platforms this summer and fall. your continued support is our inspiration :)

peace,

C&M
